
White Point dive in Los Angeles is one among the most exciting. It has white bacterial mats along the bottom and is close to the hypo-thermal hotsprings. The dive site also features an old shipwreck, rock reef, and kelp beds. It is also home to giant sea stars, cold water anemones, and urchins. High tide is the best day to dive.
Leo Carillo
Leo Carrillo La is a California state parks located along Los Angeles County's southern coast. It is part the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The park has 1.5 miles stretch of beach that extends to the Santa Monica Mountains. Scuba divers can find plenty of opportunities to explore the pristine waters off the coast of Leo Carrillo State Park.
Divers have the option to choose from three main sites at Leo Carrillo. These sites are excellent for beginners with easy entry points. There is ample parking. You can also go night diving or lobster hunting at these sites, and you will find lots of marine life.

Santa Barbara Island
Santa Barbara Island is home of some amazing offshore dive sites. Visitors can hop on a visiting boat to get out to these dive sites. These are excellent hunting and photography areas, and often rocky. These areas also contain healthy kelp plants and purple-colored hydro coral. This area is ideal for Southern California waters because of its excellent visibility.
You can also go snorkeling or kayaking on the island. You can even tent camp, if the weather allows. A large pinniped population also calls the island home, including harbor seals, northern elephant seals, and California sea lions. These animals can be seen in the rocks surrounding the sea lion nestery. There are several overlooks on the island.
Anacapa Island
Anacapa Island has a diverse marine life. One of America's first Marine Protected Areas can be found in this region. The region offers diving that is not only great for beginners but also for seasoned divers. The waters around the island have a moderately warm temperature, which makes them ideal for wetsuit diving. In late summer and autumn, the surface temperatures can reach 70°F (21°C). However, temperatures in winter can fall as low at 50 degrees F (10 degrees Celsius). Using a 7mm wetsuit is recommended. Visibility is usually at least 100 feet (30M) during these months.
Dive charter boats and Island Packers can access the Anacapa dive spot. There are many dive locations on the island. One of them is a 40-foot-tall archrock. These sites can also be viewed from the surface using snorkeling gear.

Veteran's Park
Veteran's Park is a Green Space off Ocean Drive with a playground, fields and other amenities. This is a wonderful place for families to come together. It is also very close to the beach. The park offers a spectacular view of the ocean on a sunny day. It is open year-round and has a lot to offer.
The parking lot makes it easy to get to the park. Veteran's Park is the ideal place to begin your diving adventures if you're a beginner diver. It's easily accessible and has restrooms as well as parking. The meter is always checked, and there is also an outdoor shower for rinse gear. A changing area is available in the park, with restrooms being close to dusk.
