Scubapro has a reputation for safety and innovation. Jaqueline Biset wore the first silicon mask of Scubapro in The Deep 1977. This movie helped popularize the term Hypo-allergenic mask. The Super Cinch Tank Band cam action buckle system revolutionized tank safety and is still used on many Scubapro BCDs.
Dick Bonin
Dick Bonin was a Scuba Pro who died December 8th. He was a Huntington Beach resident for over 40 years. Bonin was not only an accomplished man but also a great person who treated everyone equally. Dick was responsible for some of the most technically advanced diving equipment lines in history. He also loved his family very much. It is a sad day in the diving community.
