You will need to take a scuba dive course if you plan on becoming a cavern divers. The course includes four scuba divers. The first is an outdoors practice dive. Here you will learn the basics of handling line, reel, avoiding silt, and managing air. Your instructor will help you plan your dive and maintain your control over your orientation and air flow. You will be able, upon completion, to dive in caves or other caves that follow safety rules.
Safety
Cave diving safety protocols should follow the Rule of Threes. The cave diver should have three types of light sources and at least two tanks. The gas should be divided into three different sections so that they can survive the dive. If the dive team has experience in diving in caves, a more conservative gas management plan will be preferred. In addition to avoiding cave hazards, cave divers should practice safe diving practices.
Equipment
Cave diving is a sport that requires specific equipment. Two safety reels should be carried. One safety reel should be used to run the guideline while the other should maintain the line tension in the cave. Before you go cavern diving, ensure that every diver has a safety rope with enough line to reach cave's entrance. The majority of manufacturers will fill the reels with guideline. This increases the likelihood of them jamming. You should trim about 10 meters (30 feet) of your line before you use it to avoid jamming.
Maximum penetration
TDI offers a cavern diving course for scuba divers who want to dive in areas that do not allow direct vertical access. This includes diving into caverns and overhangs. It is not mandatory to sign up for a cavern dive course. However, the course will provide the necessary skills to make the most of the environment. You will learn how safe to navigate narrow spaces that are often hidden from public view.

Maximum depth
Cavern diving has its limitations. Cavern diving must be avoided at night. Cavern diving requires more advanced training that other types of diving. You will need to be familiar with cave safety procedures and your limits if you are interested in diving in caverns. Before diving in caverns, you will need to have had some experience. This will allow you to begin your journey into the wonderful world of cavern-diving!
