Nitrox Certification Courses

diving certification

There are many reasons you should take Nitrox certification courses. You can enjoy the excitement of diving with Nitrox. It can also help you feel more confident as a diver. Certification courses are offered by several organizations. These courses include the NAUI Enriched Airnitrox Diver (PADI Enriched Air Diver), SSI Adventure Diver (Open Water Diver), and PADI Enriched Air Diver (PADI Enriched Air Diver).

PADI Enriched Air Diver

PADI Enriched Air Divers (EANx) certification is designed for divers who want to improve their diving experience. This course includes a home study and a brief classroom session. The EANx course includes learning about oxygen content in the scuba tank, how to use a scuba oxygen analyzer, and standard procedures for recording the percentage of oxygen in the tank.

The time that divers can stay underwater for is extended when they are Nitrox-enriched. This is due to the lower level of nitrogen in the air, which allows for a wider safety margin. Enriched air mixes are also ideal for deeper dives, as they usually have 32% and 36% oxygen.

NAUI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver

If you're looking to elevate your diving skills, getting certified as an enriched water diver is a good start. This course covers the basics of blending, as well as the hazards associated with high oxygen concentrations and how to use the equipment. Furthermore, you'll be able to use a divecomputer and analyze the contents. In addition, you'll also learn about the Equivalent Air Depthance (EANx) and how to use a standard air dive table. The common blending of nitrogen and oxygen is also covered.

Nitrox, also known by the name Enriched Air, is a type or breathing gas that contains higher levels of oxygen than normal air. The increased oxygen content means you can stay underwater longer and not need to refill your tank. It reduces the effects of decompression fatigue and is beneficial to your health. Also, enriched water divers have shorter surfaces intervals.

SSI Adventure Diver

SSI, an internationally recognized dive organization, offers the SSI Adventure Diver Nitrox Certification. This certification requires experience, knowledge, as well as skills. To receive this award, you must have completed at least 50 dives and four specialty courses.

The SSI Adventure Diver nitrox Course is designed for students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to dive in reduced visibility. It teaches divers to navigate in the dark, use specialized equipment, and communicate with a dive buddy. After completing the course, divers will be awarded the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver rating and are eligible to receive the SSI Nitrox Specialty certificate.

SSI Open Water Diver

The SSI Open Water Diver Course is an internationally recognized certification program. It includes three sections: academic learning; in-water swimming pool training; and multiple open water dives. This course will teach you how to plan, dive and use enriched air mixes as high as 40% oxygen. This can increase your bottom time and reduce your surface intervals. It may also help to avoid decompression sickness.

PADI and SSI dive centers are different in the way they handle certifications. PADI certification requires you to buy your manual. You will receive your card from your dive center, if you are a SSI certified diver. PADI certification centers can also issue temporary cards which you can use to prove your certification.
